Our Team

Gustavo Mezo

Monart was born in 2011 from a vision to bridge the gap between artistic excellence and professional sustainability in the music industry. As founder, Gustavo brings a rare multidimensional perspective shaped by his parallel careers as a musician, agent, and digital strategist.

Originally from Mexico City and now based in Paris, Gustavo’s journey led him through formal certifications in digital marketing management in Spain and music agency operations in France. While his background includes occasional performances as a pianist alongside artists like Camille Bertault, Mathilde, and David Soin Tappeser, his primary expertise evolved in the business and agency side of music. This blend of experiences has created a unique skillset that spans both artistic understanding and business acumen.

What drives Monart is Gustavo’s recognition of the fundamental challenge facing today’s independent musicians: while conservatories and music schools excel at developing artistic brilliance, they rarely equip artists with the business acumen needed to thrive professionally. In an era of diminishing institutional support and increasingly DIY career paths, musicians find themselves handling everything from booking to marketing to financial management—often without proper preparation.

Monart exists to change this equation, providing the strategic support, industry expertise, and digital solutions that allow exceptional artists to focus on what they do best—creating remarkable music that the world deserves to hear.

Svhen · Ben García 

Ben García, better known as Svhen, is Monart’s Art Director specializing in branding projects for musicians. A versatile creative who divides his time between Barcelona and Mexico City, Svhen brings a unique perspective shaped by his dual career as both a designer and musician.

Since 2010, Svhen has built an impressive portfolio as a freelance designer focusing on music-related projects. His passion for creating gig posters and album artwork has led to collaborations with numerous international artists and music labels. His distinctive visual style can be seen in projects for acclaimed artists such as Alex Stuart, Michael Mayo, and Shai Maestro.

Beyond his design work, Svhen is also a recognized bassist and double bassist active in the international jazz scene. He has performed alongside renowned musicians including Melissa Aldana, Roberto Verástegui, and Gonzalo del Val, bringing a musician’s sensibility to his visual creations.

Svhen’s dual expertise as both designer and musician gives him a unique understanding of artists’ branding needs, making him the perfect guide for musicians looking to develop or refresh their visual identity.
